The Sporthotel Pontresina is a family-run Art Nouveau hotel dating back to the 19th century, located in the heart of the Upper Engadine.
his traditional hotel combines history with modern comfort and offers ideal infrastructure for active holidays in one of Switzerlands most beautiful Alpine regions.
The spacious rooms are simply and comfortably furnished, blending modern design with the warm charm of Alpine materials such as Swiss pine-perfect for relaxing after an active day in the mountains. Thanks to its central location in the village of Pontresina, the Sporthotel is an ideal starting point for numerous outdoor activities in the Engadine, from hiking and biking in the summer to cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and other winter sports in the colder months.
The Sporthotel offers a diverse culinary experience with three restaurants and a sports bar. Here, you can enjoy regional products, homemade pasta, andmeat specialties cooked on a Beefer or lava stone grill.
The Pampel family has run the hotel for over 40 years and is now in its second generation.
The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 11:00.
